Happy house overlooking the Tagus River. The building where it is located is part of a complex situated between the Avenue (Av. 24 de Julho), to the South, and the Garden of the Ancient Art Museum, to the North. The Street (Travessa) José António Pereira, behind, allows access to Rua das Janelas Verdes, through the so-called Conjunto Urbano das Tercenas, a series of terraces communicating between several buildings, next to the Old Prisons of the Marquis of Pombal. Along Avenida 24 de Julho, about 250 meters from the house, is the staircase to access the garden in front of the Museum. The main facade overlooks the Tagus River and the South Bank, from the 25 de Abril Bridge to Cacilhas, and is oriented to the South. The rear facade faces North. The property is part of a building from the beginning of the 19th century, which has been undergoing rehabilitation in recent years, including interventions on the roof. It is currently in reasonable condition, with no obvious signs of degradation. It has a total of 10 autonomous fractions (two per floor), under a horizontal property regime and with organized condominium. The general electrical, water, sewage and gas infrastructure networks have recently been completely replaced. The apartment currently has 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, office, kitchen, two bathrooms, entrance hall and corridor. With the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms, all other spaces have parquet flooring made of "casquinha" wood, original from the building's construction date, with a satin varnish finish. The ceilings are stucco with relief motifs. The French doors on the main facade, facing South, are made of steel profiles and acoustic glass, providing excellent insulation to the construction. All exterior doors and windows have original solid wood shutters painted like the remaining carpentry.
